Per CNN headline "'Hard' Brexit talk pushes pound to 31-year low"
Looks like GHQ should step up its advertising to its UK customers this week/month!
Good luck

Actually, that just means that GHQ has got way more expensive for us in the UK.
The bigger obstacle to me is that GHQ don't release key UK equipment - hardly any of the weapons in the Modern Heavy Weapons pack are still in service, there's no Rapier, no Starstreak, no Titan, no Trojan, no Jackal, no Coyote, no Panther, no CB90 and I could go on. It's OK if you just want to do a skirmish with a few bits of heavy armour but that's as far as it goes.
I love GHQ quality but the other 1/300 ranges are just so much wider for UK Forces and the Exchange Rate just makes GHQ more expensive. I still buy GHQ for Russians and US Forces as there is (unsurprisingly) a much bigger range.
That said, let's see what the Exchange Rate looks like after the US Election! _________________ CG2 |

I was thinking of getting more of the 1/300 inf
They look more in proportion to ghq tanks
I like ghq inf when not mix in with the tanks. |

Ha! Sorry, Guess a career in arbitrage isn't in my future.
I understand your concern re: missing vehicles/equipment for UK.
The Modern Germans are waiting for a Wiesel and its numerous variants (Recce/AFV, ATGM, AA(SAM), mortar, etc) among other things. Everyone has a list of TILTS (things I'd like to see).

Indeed and you can't expect GHQ to make things they don't think will sell (or maybe lead to more sales of things they already produce).
I've always thought the TILTS thread is largely useless for GHQ as you rarely get much of a consensus - I did think of putting together a list like Donald does for Naval stuff but you'd have to exclude the ones where people go through a reference book and list everything that was ever produced or thought about if you wanted to manage it effectively. _________________ CG2 |

Me too, even took a stab at it in excel one day but gave up as too tedious. My hats off the GHQ staff that keep track of it. |

I'm about 10 months from retirement so I'll have significant free time in the second half of '17. There's still significant work to do on the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List, but I may be able to get to at least the WWII section of an equivalent for land-based forces.

We certainly need SOME kind of British recovery vehicle. I have two squadrons of Challengers, one of Chieftains, and some Centurions rolling around. Recovering a tank currently takes one or two additional tanks to get it unstuck. The Bergpanzer is too light. The M88 is even a little lightweight for the Challenger. Currently, I am using Brand X Challenger hulls to represent the Brit recovery units, but a real one would be nice. _________________ All blessings flow from a good mission statement.

No links (of course), but the new H&R Trojan AVRE is rather nice. |
