Camastan has become a member along with Balzac Republic, Finland, Sweden, Norway. Communication with PROC has occurred since they are in the northern ICE region north of the Baltic Sea. A concern is that PROC seems to be in the pond of Putinville and/or the Russians, using Russian equipment, doctrine and advisors.
.
Balzac Republic has signed a deal with Russia to purchase SU-30 Flankers, These planes are not as capable as SU-34/Su-35, but significantly lower in price. Weapons that are available are the same. Weapons will be part of the 24 aircraft deal, with option for more aircraft and weapons. As more countries purchase the SU-30, prices are being reduced with economies of scale in production. _________________ Chris |

The Balzac Foriegn Minister Jaquan Liebinstein replied to your comment, “we hope you in the NDA can read a map, if so if you looked at your map, you would realize that the Balzac Republic is in Europe, next to Camastan, Sweden, near Norway and Finland and PROC. We have been here for quite some time,”
.
In other news, the Balzac Republic PR Dept. announces that the ownership of the MV Horton will change hands. The MV Horton is to be sold to a business group, lead by the Sheik Yer Bouti. All transport contracts are to be evaluated to determine if future shipments will be transferred to another carrier. All customers are being contacted that utilize the MV Horton. The Sheik said, “I am putting this ship in place for my people of Yer Bouti. It is one approach to help my people. It will be great for my country and it’s people.” _________________ Chris |

The MV Tim Horton has today been re flagged in Yer Bouti but will continue to be used to move goods (mostly GHQ) between N.America, Europe and N.Africa.
In a simple ceremony in YBC she was given the name of the Sheik's great uncle and unveiled as the new.....

Balzac Republic from Military concerns from CPR and Yer Bouti has applied to be a member of the .... Commonwealth of Chrisdom. We will remain a member for the Northern Europe defense with Finland, Norway, Sweden and CPR. Because CPR is a member and had they attacked Balzac Republic, the other three nations would not be obligated to help defend BR.

The Gripen Air Group in Norway will conduct some training operations with the Norwegians. Plan to return in 4 days time. E-2 will conduct flights, not to cross over the North Pole, but so then can ‘look in’. _________________ Chris |

Balzac Republic flew a plane down to Armenia to help train the Armenians with small arms and some tanks transferred to Armenia. They will be working with Challenger 1, M60A3, M60A1, M48A5, MCV-80, M109A3, and of course small arms and small unit drills.
.
Sent a transport plane with two platoons of infantry to Iceland for winter training. Bobsled, show-shoes, survival training and combat training. _________________ Chris |

The Glorious People’s Republic of Camastan, message official.
The Republic wishes to announce that any aggression, whether by air, sea, or land, in addition to wireless disinformation, will be met with the most defensive of stances. A peaceful state, the Republic has nevertheless been forced to increase its self-defence force again.
The formation of a second armoured regiment has bolstered the armed forces. Further elements will ensure the safety of the Republic and deter aggression of any kind.
Sincerely,
The Minister for Soccer, Contemporary Furniture, and Integrity. |

Mr. Ambassador (ROD), what is you take on the Imperial Naval activity? I think it is or can be a serious threat. We do not sortie our carriers like that because of reliability and cost issues. Usually we have a task force with the smaller carriers. What were you expecting from the Imperial naval group? What do you think will happen going forward?
2. What is your assessment of the Canadian naval group as is deployed now? What do you expect with their carriers coming back online? Have not seen them in a few months.
Is it that they are trying to have some influence somewhere?
3. Is the threat to PROC serious, credible? What should the response be if Russian Fed troops do attack? How much aid does one provide to PROC? _________________ Chris |

The ROD is treating the Imperial aircraft carriers as a very serious threat. Not just to the ROD, but to the stability of Asia and the Pacific. After some aggressive behavior in the Indian Ocean, both carriers departed for a base in the Pacific, which we believe to be their home port. We do know that the Empire has other aircraft carriers under construction at this time, but we are unable to determine how far along inn the building process or how many ships are under construction.
It appears that there has been some political drama in the Empire's Central Committee, but we cannot determine if there has been a change of leadership or not. This uncertainty carries over to the Imperial military. Some senior members of the Committee are quite hawkish and are eager for another fight with the ROD. If this faction of the Committee gains control then we can expect to see more aggression and possibly open hostility from Imperial Forces. Earlier this year when the Empire and ROD went to war, ROD carrier aircraft caused much damage to Imperial units. We believe that this is a factor in the Empire's push to create a large carrier fleet.
We have worked with Canadian Navy ships in the past and they are very good. We have a healthy respect for their gunnery skills, but they do not have much of a carrier force yet. They have at least two light carriers in progress that can carry a significant punch with modern aircraft.
Our assessment of Russia is that they are a credible threat to the PROC. In light of their attacks and seizure of Ukrainian ships yesterday, it appears that Russia not only has the means to wreak havoc in the area, but they also have the willingness to do so. _________________ "Artillery lends dignity to what would otherwise be a vulgar brawl".

Thank you Mr. Ambassador (ROD) for your time and wisdom into the situations around the globe. Accurate as usual, Russian Federation is a high level threat to PROC.
2. Imperial forces are a threat to the others in the world. Since your country, ROD, had conflict with the Imperial Empire, you probably had more knowledge of their capabilities. Probably the best source for an accurate SWOT evaluation (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats). I know when their task force sortied to Malta, the Commonwealth had grave concerns. We were not sure if they were planning to do anything to Malta or continue the western direction and what their plans were.
3. Glad your relationship with Canada is good, real good. Even with the new leadership, they seem a bit difficult. Know that various elements the comprise Canada have been strong supporters and contributors for the UIN. So they do want to continue to be on the world stage. Maybe they may deploy contemporary frigates and destroyers with missile capability. They would add a dimension to UIN and global operations. _________________ Chris |
