Very nice work on the 2 vignettes there, Bill. I also really like the Opel Blitz trucks as well.

Well done!

Pete

ACWBill / it is truly impressive work, i had never thought 6mm scale could be used for such detailed diorama.

----

Since first model i have made some progress in technique. I paint some new model only with air brush and here is the result.

Soon i think i can finish MERDC for m103 and plan to purchase extra K2 tank and k1a1. Hope you joy.

Nice work.

The interesting thing to me is that, at least in the US Army, all vehicles are supposed to have the same camouflage scheme for a given area. When we repainted our tanks in 2-37 armor, we had stencil's made and we chalked the pattern on the tanks, then sprayed.

Of course, when we did that, we were using the anti-chemical paint which is carcigenic, in the open, perhaps with (or without) face masks. When the 1ID repainted for Desert Storm, the painting was done by contractors in full protective suits, in a paint shed. since they were all painted tan, there wasn't any pattern.

At least we don't have to do that in1/285.

Abe,
Nice camo, really like the Leopard 2A6. Some of the Abrams pics are bigger than my PC monitor.
Keep posting those good pictures!!

thanks to Guroburov and mike robel for nice comment

mike/

I think it is also same in S.korea. When i was service(14-16) at K-9 battery. Every 6 gun has identical scheme with minimum difference. I had no chance to paint them (cause i was normal VCO(FDC)) but i'm pretty sure similar system might exist other than us. But huge difference is that in S.korea army did all the paint not contractor. There is some kind of central maintenance center exist run by army.

Well problem is this was my first air brush painting camo. I have failed not only painting identical pattern but also left sufficient 'green' space. Thanks for good critic mike truly. And still i'm not US citizen, as ex-service man from allies, i'm truly thanks for your service.

Nice Airbrush work. I have tried multiple times to use an airbrush and I always end up going back to standard brushes.
