thanks guys! I'm trying the MERDC tonight I think.

Great looking tanks, Cav Dog! I really like the desert camo!

So here is my first (and probably only) vehicle in MERDC camo. It looks cool, but I don't have any plans for a unit with that camo scheme so I probably won't do any more. My M60A3s are all earmarked for my CAARNG brigade (circa 1995) and they were just straight green.

These guys are the first platoon of what will eventually be 2/185 Armor

I second that. Love the MERDC. I think you should put together at least a company of them, he seems lonely.

Seems that MERDC is enjoying some popularity.

Nice work work redleg on the M60. This is, for me anyway, a challenging pattern to work up. I salute any who try it.

Iíve completed a US mech infantry company circa 1976 in the Winter verdant MERDC scheme:

Sweat mother of tanks.....more great MERDC paint schemes.....nice work Begemont. However I must respectfully ask you to stop posting any more till I get some of my other vehicles done....otherwise I be forced to buy some vehicles to do that camo pattern.....

Now you see, this right here is why I don't play Americans (among other reasons). I can't paint MERDC and you guys make it look GOOD!

Grats to both of you for awesome painting skills.

I agree. I use panzer grey or FS36118 (gunship grey) instead of black for all rubber items.

Maybe I'll give a dark gray color a shot. I started using NATO Black because it seemed a bit soft, almost like a very dark gray, but it still might be too dark.

VAB Command-communication.

FUGs, OT-65, work in progress, use surplus turrets from OT-64 8x8.
