Wow great stuff. How did you do the conversions. Tiny pieces of platic card and rod? Or did you combine different kits to form one. You should do an article on it if you have time I would love to see it.

Really nice conversions. On the russian AA, how did you do it? or would you rather create some on commission? Nice stuff.

This is repeated from another thread:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the french roland, another co. make it with a built up structure and roland launcher. I have use 1-2 of these, I also use cinc DCA AAA hull, just glue roland launcher in (not the greatest, i know) and have that taken care of. With the cinc twin 20mm AA turret i glue to the AMX 13 hull for the french 20mm AA. I use the AMX13/90 turrets on M-41 hulls to create the Austria SK105 tank destroyer.

As for 'extra AAA amx30 hulls, I've glued two with the support structure of the US 5 ton recovery vehicle on the hull of the French tank, these are my support vehicle for my french pluton missle carriers(i do not have the suitable 'box' yet, will use end of gas tank for missle nose) and use a few AAA amx 30 hull for pluton carrier/launcher. The trucks of the 5 ton I will use with my cruise missle launcher Trailors instead of the truck scotia provides with the trailer/launcher.

I few of the cinc VAB 6X6, I've removed the 20 mm gun and replace with roland acquistion radar for my ground surveilence system or counter battery....

Another conversion: cinc Renault VBC 90 hulls are matched with cinc LAV 25 turrets to be used for either Japan's Komatsu Type 87 Reconnaissance & Patrol Vehicle or for Spain's Santa Barbara VEC Cavalry Scout Vehicle. By the way: if someone has good idea for Spains or Austria's APC, the ASCOD MICV, let me know. It is similar to UK Warrior with extra road wheel and other feature differences.

Hi
Here are a couple of models that I am working on:
Panjager Bren carriers, German field converstions equipped with 3 8.8cm rocket-lauchers.
Plastic card and fuse wire.
Kind of happy with them, should look nice when painted , might add crew men?

Chris.

I would encourage you to add crewmen. They really make a model you are proud to show when you are done.

Here are my finished Panjager Brens,
They look a lot better painted.
After starting to paint them I decided that the paint scheme is probably wrong, hard to tell from a black & white photo!
I think they were probably British army green with german yellow camo overspray?
Oh well i am going to leave them like this and will add german cross transfers.

Chris.

Nice! Very nice!

The crewmen help add to the total effect, don't you think?

Very nice indeed.

Yes
I have a motley collection of GHQ stuff some from Ebay some brand new,
Some of the older Universal carriers have crew on board.
I probably prefer them as most vehicles would have guys on board unless abandoned or knocked out.

mmmm?
Just the one or two normally,
Just messing around with my surplus models,
Am going to make some German T60 artillery tractors next.
this scale is great for quickly putting stuff together,
I have a few models by Andrew Belsey and his stuff is really in a different league.

I wish GHQ would offer their Flak halftracks in deployed mode.

Does anyone need sidecars from WWII motorcycles for any projects? I just ordered a pack of German motorcycles w/sidecars for conversion to modern motorcycle riders and have no use for the sidecars.
