For corrugated metal sheets visit a model railroad shop There are companies that make corrugated metal sheets to scale. Z scale should serve your need at 1:285 scale. I found some in a shop in Santa Clara a couple of months ago.

About 18 - 20 years ago, I did some kitbashing for Type 89 IFV for Japan, used CinC Roland hull with GHQ Scimitar turret. Now GHQ produces it. The Type 90 tank, I used to use some other manufacturer as the stand in.
.
Now I am working on MLRS reload trailers. Umm, wonder if GHQ will produce those this year.
.
I have been kitbashing for the Patria AMV since I have wanted those for years. Wonder if these will be released by GHQ.

I have tons of great ideas for kit bashing and scratch building. Unfortunately, my imagination far exceeds my actual modeling skill so most of my ideas either never happen or they get thrown out in frustration.

I did recently make a decent Q36 radar though. I used the generator trailer and some putty to fill it in. Then a little block of balsa wood with a piece of car stock for the antenna. Now I'm trying to figure out how to make a Q37!

Additionnals military bags and tarpaulins on US GHQ's halftracks.
Bags are made with putty from Tamiya (very good putty) and then, they will receive their first layer of paint before definitive painting...

another exemple, with the first coat of paint, before definitive painting job.

Pibber,

Always a joy to see your work. Your scratch built stuff is an inspiration. Its contributors like you that push me to always try to push the boundaries of what I attempt when painting my miniatures.

Thanks you for the post of your work. Please keep it coming.

It's always exciting for me to see the great work done by some members on the forum (although I think the forced switch of photobucket to other hosts did a lot of harm to the forum and lost a lot of very interesting pictures of our models). So, in my turn, if I can serve as inspiration and give ideas, I am very happy.

I continue passionately my projects at 1/285, but in recent months, I had a lot of work in my personal job so difficult to find time to complete projects, take pictures and post them on the forum. And most importantly, I struggled to find a simple image host to use to replace photobucket. I tried two hosting sites but it was not convincing.
Now that I think I have found a replacement for photobucket, I'll have to be able to post a little more regularly.

I like the trays. Looks like a staging area. Homemade?

Nice work on the Scratch built BurtWolf. I am always impressed with the talent on this page and especially when it comes to scratch built stuff. I hope that one day in the future, I can get enough patience and guts to try my hand at a scratch built anything.

Good work to everyone.
