When I was stationed there we were required to have 4 trash cans. 1 for trash, 1 for paper and glass, 1 for metals, and 1 for food scrapa and yard waste. It's probably worse now.

Fortunately we will not perform operations in Germany, CFB Lahar will only be used to help the regimental commanders better coordinate the troops when fighting overseas.

Plus the troops sent to the base are on Garrison duty.

Expensive duty to guard a garrison... ummmm.

New Canada Military News, "Fortunately we will not perform operations in Germany, CFB Lahar will only be used to help the regimental commanders better coordinate the troops when fighting overseas.

Plus the troops sent to the base are on Garrison duty."

Maybe Germany Govt is concerned about Russia invasion.

We lived in a stairwell last time. All those bins you mentioned, plus a bin for Brown glass, one for green glas, and one for batteries. And you better not get it wrong, either. And cardboard was separate from other paper. The Germans are not necessarily more efficient than everyone else, but they do have a very specific procedure for everything.

Unfortunately, you canít just stroll into the ROD position. The teams are dispersed throughout the area, and even if you find one of them you will have to preset the proper far recognition signal to avoid being killed. A blue light will flash and you can either present a VS-17 panel folded in the correct manner or you can lay down your weapons and be disarmed and hog tied.

The unknown soldiers presents a rather old VS-17 Panel of the Canadian Special Operations Regiment.

The VS-17 panel is a piece of fabric that is orange on one side and pink on the other. It can be folded to form specific patterns, and these patterns serve as a far recognition sign, which changes every 24 hours. Since you have no way of knowing what the correct pattern is, the ROD troops see the VS-17 panel but the wrong pattern is displayed.

The ROD troops disappear without a trace.

If you want to contact the ROD operators in Syria you should go through official ROD military channels. Or if you want you can try snooping around in certain hookah lounges in Raqqah or Damascus to find one of their informants. You probably don't have much time though. The ROD guys were in the country due to Turkish/Kurdish/Syrian activity, but since we seem to be migrating into an Al Kabbab scenario the ROD will most likely shift their attention to the east back into northern Iraq.

The Unmarked soldiers miffed by the using the wrong pattern decides to find one of the informants in Raqqah to hopefully get the 40th Battalion and the DIS teams to show up to meet them.

At an unsanitary coffee shop and hookah lounge in Raqqah, the Old Canadians find a man named Kamel who says that he knows the ROD operators, but getting a message to them is a dangerous journey. For a very reasonable fee (200 US dollars and a digital camera) Kamel will take your message to the ROD commander, if he is still in the country.

Kamel takes a selfie and then tells the Old Canadians to return to the coffee shop every night at 9pm local time. Once Kamel finds the ROD commander and delivers your request for a meeting, a candle will be placed on the kitchen window sill. If the ROD commander agrees to meet with you, the candle will be lit. If he declines, the candle will be flame-less.

Heard a rumor that the Old Canadians referenced are a case of blended whiskey.
