Schweinfurt Germany.
The New Canadian officers arrived at the Reiter Kaserne just north west edge of the city, the elevated security was pretty noticeable, but they all shrugged it off as some form of training exercise. the officers finally once they get through all the security, they reached the barracks (and They brought some Canadian Whiskey with them.)

Excellent. The boys enjoy whiskey!

You are greeted at the gate by the staff duty officer. You will need to be escorted while on the base since you do not possess a valid ROD military or dependent ID.

Are you here for business or a social visit?

Great! We'll hook you guys up with some of the guys and they can show you around the base. Then they'll take you into Schweinfurt for some doner kebab and schnitzel sandwiches!

You guys havenít heard about the Al Kabob threat in Germany? Looks like they may have set up shop in your neighborhood. We figure itís better safe then sorry when it comes to force protection. Weíre surprised that you guys werenít all told about it so you could be on your guard.

Itís Friday afternoon, letís go downtown and get some food and beer. Weíre hoping you guys can tell us about the Rocky Point Sea Monster that we heard about. When our battleship was passing through there about a month or so ago they said that they saw a sea monster off Rocky Point. It made it into our intel feed and now thatís all the Nav guys talk about.

We heard about the Al-Kabab threat yes, but it's most likely a bluff, a scare tactic, as Germany is a very secure country when it comes to threats of terrorism the mayor of Lahr ensures that their police forces will stop any militant attack before it happens, and we did pay the mayor good money to keep that promise, our base is perfectly safe.

We're going to run your guys through our Recondo course (ROD version of Ranger school). We can also provide some additional special ops training if your guys are up to it, but we can't do the entire special forces qualification course.

We will place the New Canadian soldiers into our training squads as individuals. 9 ROD soldiers or marines and 1 New Canadian.

Keep in mind that this does not solve your problems. This can be a start for your special forces program, but their effectiveness will depend on how they are employed.

Giving this guy special forces is just going to multiply his casuatlies, those of his allies, and civilians unlucky enough to be in his area of operations. It will give his enemies more targets. If he hasn't demonstrated the knowledge of what to do with conventional troops, what makes you think he will figure out how to use special forces? Specops is just a new toy on the shelf.

The ROD isnít terribly confident in New Canadaís ability to field a special operations force, but weíre not ready to give up on them. We will give 10 of their best NCOs the training and tools to succeed and it will be up to them to apply the lessons. We value determination in our operators, so as long as they are genuinely trying we will keep providing assistance in one form or another. In this case, we are allowing them to participate as part of an ROD squad, not as a Canadian squad.

Sent 9 privates, too?? Darn arrogant.
I thought it was the 10 best NCOs.
.
ROD is still welcome to sent men to Panama for jungle/ranger training, even if you are not stationing anyone in Panama.
