Who exactly is Canada trying to reinforce in Aleppo? As far as I know it is under Syrian control, but with a heavy Russian presence. And I think you may have a hard time trying to get into Tartus, as the Russian Navy has a presence there as well. Here is a recent article on it:

New Canada's Mission in Aleppo is to remove the Al-Kabab threat in the city, we where not aware that Russia has a presence in Tartus. We will have to find another port to land forces on, so we can begin the counter-insergency operation.

The CoC TF in the Mediterranean has slowed, tightening the group as it approaches Egyptian Suez Waterway. It is allowing some ships to exit the Suez and a few to enter ahead of the TF.

The Canadian Task forces has arrived in the port of Latakia Syria, and are in the process of landing troops, armor and supplies ready to begin the large counter insurgency operation in Aleppo. the port will serve as a land zone for reinforcements.

Oh, perhaps the Canadians misunderstood who was going to use Port of Latakia.

1/3 of the task force head north of Port Latakia, for amphibious landing on the beach. 8 LCAC and 12 LCM landing craft. Landed 2 dozen Merkava 1, along with M113, Ratels, Centurion APCs,
Helicopters land fire/recon team 4-5 km inland. UAVs flying in area and UCAV flying up to 60 km away for awareness on any threats.
Some small arms fire engage a fire/ops team, which has call fire support from amphibious ships, especially the FSM-2.

The Canadian Task force Commanders are furious they wanted to use the port of Latakia to land troops but since the CofC occupies it they cannot use it, so they set sail to the Al Beida Port instead leaving the CofC task force behind.

The Canadian Commanders hope that they will reach Aleppo first before the CofC forces show up. but they fear of a possible ambush by whoever these unmarked solders and vehicles the US a-nalysts said.

The Task force has arrived at Al Beida Port, unfortunately the area can only support one large ship at a time, the Transport MV Three Sisters is first at port to drop off the 1st Hussars, the Princess Patrica's Light Infantry Regiment, and the Sherbrooke Fusiliers.
these three regiments will be the advanced element for the rest of the New Canadian Forces in Syria. the light infantry boarded their M35 trucks and M113 APCs and drive straight into Aleppo via the major highway leading into the city to assess the situation...Hopefully without running into the CofC task force.

The JFK class supercarrier in the task force HMCS Canada has launched their CS-2 Tracker to track the advanced elements progress. the forces commanders are in the ship TOC to command and guide the troops deployed to the field.

On Highway 1 in Syria.

The Advanced element of the Canadian task force race towards the city of Aleppo, the soldiers hoped that they can get to the city first before their rivals the CofC whos task force landed at Port Latakia.

(Canadian Coyote Driver on radio): "Hey how them Patrica boys doing eh?"

(Canadian NCO on radio): "They're doing fine buddy, just keep your eyes on the road for any surprises that may come our way."

(Canadian Coyote Driver on Radio): "Surprises? Its nothing but a bunch of sand and S*&^, its not like some raiders is going to show up and attack this convoy that will be a mistake that they will regret."
(the enlisted solders from the Patrica's can be heard laughing over the radio).

(Canadian Coyote Driver on radio): "lets put on some country music to get the soldiers going (plays Convoy by Paul Brandt over the radio and on the Coyotes loud speaker, the enlisted soldiers began to hooting, cheering and singing along with the music.)

On the M557 the Majors in charge of the the Element turned off the radio so they can concentrate on the operation with the rest of the commissioned officers onboard.

Sorry easy spelling mistake.

As for the New Canadian soldiers Panzer, what do you expect from them, they where enlisted in the army just for the money and fame.

Money and fame? THAT explains a LOT! At the moment the New Canadian Army is famous for massive disasters and abandoning its ally in the face of the enemy, not to mention incompetence in the use of basic weapons and tactics. Lousy radio discipline will lead to to more casualties and, through incompetence, loss of New Canada's sovereignty to a better-trained and better-disciplined army.

And you left them holding the bag on your first joint operation. Guess all the lessons didn't take.
