Aleppo Syria.
The New Canadian advanced element, has just come under a surprise by the CSOR and a small army of defected Syrian Army personal, their T-72s and BMP 1s pulls off a ROD style maneuver tactic on the Sherbroke Fusiliers Leopard 2s cutting them off from supporting the Princess Patrica's Light infantry and the 1st Hussars who are struggling to fight off the CSOR operators who kept firing from one location to another, while dealing with the Syrian Infantry who are flanking them, Casualties for the New Canadians where mounting from this surprise Spec ops attack, despite the advanced element fighting with everything they got, the situation seems hopeless, The Officers leading this advanced element ordered a retreat out of Aleppo and regroup with the rest of the New Canadian Forces at Ras al Basit, and hopefully plan out a strategy to beat a Special Operations unit.

Port of Latakia Syria.
Several Syrian Yasir and La-17M UAVs retrofited to carry SS.11 and HOT Missiles, staged an all out surprise air attack on the base and port firing off their missiles into the CofCs armor and ships before making a suicidal dive into the base itself, while outside the base the defected Syrian army working with several CSOR operators fires several 2S4 Tyuplans and BM-21 Grands into the base as well, this was an act of desperation by the Renegade Spec Ops unit to dislodge the CofC from Syria.

Latakia, Syria
When rockets, mortars artillery is fired, the Centurion AA engage the rounds. Having multiple Centurion AA provides for excellent defense. The ships in port with their CWIS add additional layer of protection. The Centurion AA systems hit 28 of the 38 rounds that were incoming.
C-RAM also works well, did well against drones, hitting them prior to their launch of missiles.
Counter battery fire from MLRS, 155, 122 artillery was extremely effective. Predator and Reaper drones were also highly effective with Hellfire missiles.

The CSOR and defected Syrian forces, retreated from the Latakia as the CofC are just too strong to dislodge, but they will have better luck aginest the New Canadians at Ras al Basit, and moved their armor and remaining UAVs to the New Canadians Location.

Launch of 2 UCAV-47 B, HALE Drones, each expected to provide over 24-hour surveillance tracking the CSOR and Al Kabab. This will allow rotation of Reapers Predators, and other drones with weapon systems. By the spotting, GPS and targeting, artillery fire will be extremely deadly. Fire support from the FSM-2 with 12 5-inch guns
The above should reduce the existence of, reduce the fighting strength and endurance of Al Kabab and CSOR.

However before they drones could spot them, the CSOR employed some stolen EW equipment to disrupt the surveillance, GPS and targeting systems of the drones making them impossible to hit and allowing the CSOR and AL-Kabab to easily hide away.

Syria
From 35,000 ft, two F-111 dropping laser guided bombs onto EW trucks, trailers and building... anything with the signature. F-16 in the Wild Wiesel role take out an SAM Radar. EA-6 Prowler fly in jamming on the ground. 12 A-4 fly in with laser guided bombs fly in looking for targets, hitting trucks, APCs, several T-72.
General Whitesaw said, Im sure that the Al Kabab, CSOR, and/or the Syrian forces thought that they had us, but putting the entire package together does take time, training and a lot of effort and planning. Those hiding spots get blown up. The caves are unique, some cave in burying the soldiers, some are crushed by the cave in, others cannot breath with the Powdered/dusting which is worse that concrete bunker. Hit in a house, car or truck, even in a cart. Finding hard to hide.

With their numbers dwindling and their options are running low the CSOR rised the white flag of surrender to the New Canadians once they approch Ras El Basit, the Princes Patricas quickly take them into custody for interrogation, we need to know the whereabouts of the leaders of this old and now renegade Spec ops forces command. The last surviving members of the CSOR will be taken back to Canada to be placed on trial and put into prison.

Financial Forensics by the Commonwealth
The New Canada Finance Minister Lord Benjamin Radcliffe is the person who has authorized wire transfers from the Bank of Canada in excess of 125 million CAD. His brother is Col. Bryan Radcliffe of the CSOR, the XO. This has provided funding for the Old Canada CSOR.
The funds would have and should have been discovered by audits. The Canadian General Accounting Office (GAO) Assistant General Secretary Joshua Rothschild has a brother in the CSOR, Capt. Paul D Rothschild. It is the job the GAO to audit Canadian Government agencies and departments for proper implementation and execution of financial transactions.
The two Lord Radcliffe and Sec. Rothschild, worked in collusion to defraud the Canadian people by funding the terrorist organization, CSOR. The executive summary is being sent in e-format to the New Canadian Govt with hard copies of all the evidence and specific information.
New Canada should question the two soldiers about their role and knowledge in the illegal wire transfer.

Ottawa Ontario.
The RCMP and the New Canadian Army, has arrested lord Radcliffe and captain Rothschild, on the charges of defrauding New Canadians, funding and aiding a terror group and a illegal unit, and trying to form an illegal unit. (Special Forces are illegal in New Canada.)

They will be put on trial to determine their fate.

My question wasn't so much with the death penalty as it was with the perception that a punishment has already been decided upon. You're saying that they will be sent to prison for life before the trial took place. Maybe you meant that they would go on trial and that if found guilty the penalty could be life in prison?
