(CFB Lahr's Commander): 'Don't be ridiculous ROD, AL-Kabab would never dare attack Germany, that will be just silly, the German police and military will catch them before they even launch an attack, we are perfectly safe here in Lahr."

The Commander of CFB Lahr tosses the RODs warning in the garbage, confident that the German government will stop it before it happens.

Yeah, the polizei do a real nice job. Guess you never heard about the bomb in the American Express office in the Abrams Building (V Corps HQ) in Frankfurt, or the two incidents in the officer's club right behind it. Or the bombing of the Rhen Main Air Force Base club. Or the time a guy walked up to a major leaving USAREUR ha in Heidelberg and shot him in the face. And THOSE incidents were in the SEVENTIES... And they had real security. Yep, those reliable German Polzei. The civilian side of Frankfurt airport was bombed the day before we flew home from our Baumholder assignment in 1985. Terrism. BEFORE 9/11. MPs at the gate, looking under cars as they went on post, checking out engines, Under the car, Under our seats if we parked downtown... Yeah, toss that stuff in the wastebin, you arrogant piece of work. Insist on learning the hard way at the expense of your own troops.

That was a long time ago, today Germany is far more prepared to deal with terrorist activity's as their police has become more responsive to such threats, I assure you that CFB Lahr is safe from Al-kabab's attacks.

And al Kebab so FERVENTLY wants you to continue in that belief! They are indeed fortunate to have such an enemy as you. Your assumptions, or lack of them, make things so much easier for them. In another age, you would have led three legions through the Teutoberg Forest, trusting in Arminius completely to secure your route and get you safely to your destination. One purpose of history is to help you avoid having to relearn the lessons that others learned at great expense. The vultures are learning they can always count on the New Canadians to provide a feast.

CFB Lahr Germany
The Officers of the Base, meet up at the Bases HQ to go over the day.

(CFB Lahr's Commander): "The ROD thinks that AL-Kabab is in Germany, ha, that seems doubtful is it?"

(NC Officer): "Sure looks like it, it would be impossible for the militants to attack here, the Polizei and the German military will catch the Al-Kabab members before they even plan out such a thing."

(CFB Lahr's Commander): "And it should be, they have years of experience in counter-terrorism operations within the country, we are safe here."

NCAF gets the special discount (funny it is the same as the locals discount) at the new
Schellimbiss und Kebab in Kurzell. Parking is easy as the LPG dealer next door is not very busy.

I love it Mick! You can replicate pretty much any neighborhood on the planet can't you?

Does the New Canadian military let their guys borrow military trucks for personal use?

Yes when their off duty at CFB Lahr, the NCAF does allow them to borrow only unarmed transport vehicles like Jeeps and trucks for personal use, as a means to travel around. we want the men to give them the chance to explore their new surroundings.

Kurzell Germany
The Group of New Canadian Soldiers arrive at the town to get their discount at the Schellimbiss und Kebab.

(New Canadian Sergent): "Wait, Wait a minute, und Kebab? und Kebab?, Al-Kabab??? HOLY S*&%, GUYS, ITS A TRAP!!!"

The rest of the New Canadian soldiers froze over the fact that they walked right into a terrorist trap, and quickly started to run back to the M35 they have to warn CFB Lahr.

Kurzell Germany
The New Canadians made their way back to their M35 truck, hopped onboard and attempted to race back to CFB Lahr to warn the bases commander about AL-Kabab's presence in Germany and to get the base to prepare for an attack.

CFB Lahr Germany
(Winnipeg Grenadiers Commander): "its been days since we last heard back from the men they should be back right now what happened to them?

(CFB Lahr Commander): "I don't know probably they got drunk at some pub somewhere, Get a couple of vans ready with some of your troops onboard to retrieve them.

(WG commander): "yes sir."

A Couple of vans with about 12 unarmed Soilders onboard drove out of the base to the Men's last known location. The town of Kurzell just near Lahr.

Kurzell Germany
The NC soldiers spotted the missing M35 off the road near town, the soldiers quickly pulled the Vans over and investigate the scene, the truck was full of bullet holes on the cab and in back, inside the truck where the bodies of the off duty soldiers, they where all killed by gunfire for quite some time, the clue lay in a discount for NCAF personal from a place called Schellimbiss und Kebab, the soldiers had a realization on who could have done this from the name alone, und Kebab, is Al-Kabab, they quickly entered back into the vans and drove as fast as they could back to CFB Lahr, they called the base commander about the incident.

(CFB Lahr Commander): "Al-Kabab in Germany??? My God, lockdown the base get all personal to defensive positions NOW!!!, I'll call the German army to get their troops to Lahr."

The whole base is on high alert for a Al-Kabab attack.
