Guroburov, watch out for that ambasador. Recommend you tell him to go to hell, unless you want to lose your sovereignty and find yourself doing the bidding of the Commonwealth.

Marshal Sukorovski, PROG representative to the UIN, agreed to meet the CofC ambassador today but in an almost dismissive manner. He said they'd meet if there was time between meetings. He seemed more interested in getting access to the UINOOSA committee on behalf of his nation than on answering questions about recent developments.
He stated that the movement of troops in sovereign nations was not dictated by the PROG government and was thus beyond his purview to comment on. Russian troops along the PROG border are estimated to be in brigade strength but indications are that more are withdrawing from the Finnish border and from points further out. There is still no official word from the Kremlin. For CCNN news, this is Blake Dyson.

The CoC Ambassador did not fly in, it is the Balzac Republic Ambassador.
As he waits, "is Deputy Minister or Defense Minister available? I am delighted to wait since things are precarious at this moment. I understand the difficulty everyone is facing. Is there a place to have lunch, is there a cafeteria in the building?"

You guys REALLY ought to read "The War That Ended Peace" before you dig yourselves any deeper in these holes.

Late evening at the Kremlin, the assistant to the undersecretary of the minister of defense, expressed surprise at my questions about the buildup along the PROG border. He denied any such "buildup" was occurring. "Troops in the area may be beginning annual wargames exercises early in preparation to exercises with Belarus or are transitioning the area. We have no problems with PROG" Make of that what you will. For CCNN this is Blake Dyson.

Hey guys, Generals, Prime Ministers, Presidents & Dictators... we all need to read "The War that Ended Peace" before we post anything else. Order it today, get it in a week, read over the next few weeks/months. Then we post again....
. See, I expected it was just moving equipment around for training.... maybe.

Didnt say to read it before you post anything, but you're all stumbling incomptently toward war. Might be interesting to see how it happened in real life, when both politicians and populations gradually became enthusiastic about the idea of going to war and the read what the cost of their indiscretion was. It was remarkably easy to start WWI. It would have be3n remarkably easy to prevent it, as well, but nobody had the desire or courage to stop it. Just like today...

The Glorious People’s Republic of Camastan, message official

The Minister wishes to express dismay at the attempt of other nations, many illegitimate and otherwise hostile, to impose any recommendation of the reading of propagandist materiel. The Republic has an approved list which all members of the self defence forces are required to read. This list includes many works of the proletariat writer, Dr. T. Seuss, as well as tactical and lessons learned works by didactic author H.A. Rey.

The Minister for Literature, Radio Repair, and Training

So when I wished PROC well with the Russian Fed. you indicated that I was leaving them to their own devices as if they were hung out to dry by themselves.
So I am not a warmonger, now I am...? Interesting.

In an unprecedented move today, General Boroshefsky invited reporters from Russia I TV, Pravda, and CCNN news to join the forces along the PROG border "in a show of transparency." A seven hour ride in an army truck and we reached the border area. The encampment sits along the heavily forested transfer point from the main St. Petersburg to Vyborg rail line to the coastal rail to Pyotrograd, the PROG capital. The brigade's armored vehicles are sited in a car park at the center of the camp with the men pitching large tents all around. Inside the camp, the mood feels jovial. Men are standing about in clusters, eating, drinking, smoking, and laughing. I had unlimited access to the men without any oversight. Asking the men about if they felt nervous or worried about the confrontational nature of their deployment, they shrugged off any concerns. "we are all old friends here, they have nothing to worry about from us and we don't worry about them" one soldier said. Do you have any worries, I asked them. "Yes", said one sergeant. "We have plenty of food, drink, and friends. But, oddly, in the middle of a forest, there are not enough women!" That drew raucous laughter from the men. As we were talking, a train arrived with a lot of tanks on it. The men hustled away to help begin unloading the train saying five more were expected later that day. The tanks were older models that had had upgrades over the years to bring them to a modern standard. I also saw air defense units including the S-300 vehicles that were used in Syria to limited effect. This is Brett Ackward, for CCNN news.

CofC Minister *eyes only*

Satellite overflights of PROG show no changes in border deployments but what looks like the entire tank and armored fighting vehicle forces have been moved into the central square in the capital. Almost 20,000 infantry have also been moved into the capital. Additional infantry deployments along the main coastal highway have been observed but each contingent is in company strength or less.

One can only wonder at the foolishness of concentrating EVERYTHING in on confined space like that.
