The beacon you refer to is for bring in warships, sending attack flights out to bomb targets.
We will see if the closure of the Bosphorus Straights can be closed.
.
Quick poll of the UIN Security Council indicated that all except one were in favor of closure, but the one would veto the resolution.... DANG.
.
guess you can get your ship back. Oh, is the the Ro-Ro?

The city center airport in Yer Bouti is now closed. All flights are now using an area of the T4 airbase 10km South of the city.
Some sharp eyed passengers on one of the first commercial flights in noticed what seems to be the bulk of a brand new S-300 battery on the far side of the airbase.

This military power build up will upset the 'balance of power' in West Africa region. Yer Bouti must cease and desist this build up. The Shiek You're Bouti is making a power play.
.
In light of this, there is grave concern by the CoC and the patrol aircraft flying anywhere near YB. A-4, F-4, A-7, A-6 among others aircraft. Discussion at the highest level of the Air Force and Navy are determining of patrols will continue or if a change in aircraft is warranted.

T72 (Tusk) quickly painted and badly photographed.

The selection process for the MBT was fast tracked a few Months ago after some of the CofC member States in our region announced large military contracts.

The new tank will be called the “Striker” by the Army. It is supposedly fitted with latest generation of composite armor, with explosive reactive armor (ERA) panels.

The Al-YerZebra news outlet would like to correct the above story from 1st Oct last year.
The photo shown was of an updated T-72 in YB Army service.
The revolutionary Striker MBT is of a new completely different advanced design.

The Yer Bouti government is proud to announce the mass production of the new MBT is progressing well. Correct photo will be published as soon as released.

*EDIT*
Production model Striker MBT's are being delivered to the 92nd Armoured Brigade.

Yer Bouti is making a quantum upgrade in its air defense capabilities, which is not needed. It is a threat to air passenger travel, tourism and economic development in the region as people and the businesses will always wonder when and if YB will down commercial air traffic. The T-72 TUSK is significant improvement in the ground assault role in urban environments, help suppress civilian population in-country and offers capability for out-of-country civilian suppression.
. The other T-72 selected and imported from Eurasia are highly advanced, highly capable in open tank terrain in the area around Yer Bouti. As the Commonwealth has put infrastructure in place to develop the economic opportunities with significant highway and rail to benefit all peoples in the West Africa & Central Africa regions, including YB.
. Yer Bouti will have to get off its Bouti to determine what sort of society it wants to be, how it wishes to participate to make progress for its citizens.
. The Commonwealth works diligently to offer economic growth, better lifestyle and healthcare in the region, allocating significant capital for the creation for people in these regions. Where is the commitment of Yer Bouti and Skiek his Bouti? Non-existent to this date. The CoC invites and welcomes YB to develop itself economically and participate in the regional economic development opportunities.

Sounds like CofC is laying the groundwork for an invasion of YB to "pacify" the area.

I think it is the other way around, YB is positioning itself to invade CoC: West Sahara, Mauritania, etc.

The 92nd Brigade serves first and foremost as the government protection force, receiving the best and most modern equipment.

They will go to the top of the paint pile!

West Sahara
Patrol and observation into YB. A Predator drone detected some SAM systems in YB. A follow up stealthy drone was sent to investigate.

The buildup by YB continues, flaunting their rebellion against UIN resolution of no arms buildup and acquisition of military items that advance the capability to wage aggressive war.
.
The Commonwealth will be alert, diligent in dealing with YB.

A routine surveillance flight by YB F-4's identified a contact off the coast today.
A fly by was made and confirmed the ships as the 1st SHAM of the ROD Navy.
Wings waved and salute given at 50'.

Whew, the Moroccodom Air Force flight is fortunate. A flight of F-105 fighter-bombers, Thuds we on a training mission. The radar operator notified the flight leader of incoming aircraft out at sea. As we were heading south the 'bandit' continued on their westerly course. Two pilots reported to need new underwear upon the return to base.
. We need to know where to send the invoice.

Our thanks to the Yer Bouti Air Force for the flyover. Everyone loves a low, loud flyover by cool fighter jets! We're currently operating in and around Sierra Leone and Liberia, but we would love to make a stop in Yer Bouti for a short visit and some brew!

The Commonwealth would be delighted if ROD Navy would make a port-o-call. Those countries, Sierra Leone and Liberia along with Yer Bouti are the only countries on the western extension of Africa not a member of the Commonwealth.
