Recon flights flying along the border and satellite imagery evaluation provides insight. YB forces have some new equipment, tracked and wheeled. YB Army is increasing their capabilities. Probably strong enough the defeat the battle group known as MV Horton Army Group at 2:30am. Still would lose the Catholic Sisters Charities.
. You will learn more soon.

On patrol on the Yer Bouti - West Sahara border., this is to the north of YB. There have been occasional events of small arms from YB. Si instead of patrol in trucks, we decided to patrol in Merkava 1.

In soft sand and terrain that is more difficult use M113/25 Recon.

We have not been able localize the shooters most of the time. But when we did, they would receive an arching present of 81 or 60 mm mortar rounds.

Yer Bouti has been keeping a low profile on it's borders for the last few Months.
This was in part due to the stalled economy, the government passing the blame on to the economic warfare being waged by Monacodom (PR spin).

The populous is even more rallied to the flag, united in the renewed self reliance that the closed borders had brought. The situation is moderating somewhat and there is a small but steady flow of goods across the Southern border, despite the best efforts of th CofC.

Almost 300 years of trade to the South can not be cut off overnight by a decree in a far off city that no one respects.
The markets are full again, with a demand, ways are being found.
By night or small boat, by tunnel or by air. The YB government is going out of it's way to maintain cordial contacts with the Countries to the South.

In the North and East it is a different matter. The CofC armour and recce patrols are closely watched at all times but their presence has effectively closed that boarder.
The YB Army has pulled all armoured units back from the border leaving the new police border guard units in control.

The second reason for the low profile of the Army has been the major reorganization taking place.
General unit readiness remain low but the size and scope of the force has grown dramatically.
This weeks deployment of a small UIN contingent let slip on TV of several other units not yet seen.

More soon.

The CoC patrols have continued, although as the guys are more relaxed. They have listened to those entering and leaving YB in the south to get a gauge or temper-mint on the other side. There have been some people that have moved east and/or west, usually with a small bribe and even to the north the right bribe to the right guard will provide access/entry. Commercial vehicles usually have a higher bribe, but very reasonable to gain entry with the higher prices in YB. Because of the relaxing on the border, especially the southern border, prices have been declining for consumers.
. Many of the more heavy armored vehicles had been quietly moved off the line, border.
. Another check was sent to the Yer Bouti National Bank of yer Bouti, for oil royalties from the Azores Oil Field. $42,000,000 was sent since prices have declined since the US is producing more oil and is a net producer of petro.

Yer Bouti City.

A TV report by the State Broadcaster Al-Yerzebra covering the deployment of UIN peacekeepers to the Military Observer Group in Mahishmati and Eurasian (UiNMOGME) let slip some of the structure of the secretive YB Armed Forces.

The Armed Forces of the sheikdom of Yer Bouti include the Army, the Guards of the Bouti Homeland (GBH) and the Bouti Police Enforcement Units .

These forces total tens of thousands of active and reserve personnel (not including the Bouti Police). All branches of the armed forces fall under the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

Yer Boutiís military is equipped with an eclectic mix of modern and older items from both East and West. Some relatively sophisticated U.S-made military equipment was delivered when YB was seen as a distant colony of Balzac. After the independence movement gained full control from Balzac, military hardware was obtained from any possible source. During this time YB was exposed to military and economic sanctions some of which are still in effect today.

Military Office of the Supreme Leader Sheik Yer Bouti.
General Staff of the Armed Forces

Mentioned units.
92nd and 16th Armoured Brigades, 71st and 72nd Mechanized Infantry Brigades, 55th Airborne Battalion, 840th Missile Group and an unnamed Aviation group (UH-1, AH-1, Bell206).

The YB Official Policy of the attacks on CoC and the members nations and our citizens is bothersome. Should the CoC close the border again? Oil revenue checks can be held in escrow for the citizens of YB vs. send the checks in to buy several nice Dacha for Biggie Shakie Yer Bouti.
. CoC would prefer to work with YB in many ways. However, the arrogance and attitude of YB is alarming.
. Lets fly a few drones over YB to assess their current state of affairs.

The CoC offers tremendous benefits including taking the substantial risk on the oil production of the Azores Oil Field. YB is free to complain about many, many issues. And they certainly do complain on many, many issues. And loudly.
.
YB has doubled in size this year with the help of West Africadom and the CoC. Currently we have open borders, some restriction for northern YB to West Africa, The other two borders are open to all people so far. Random security checks take place with the result of very little smuggling of contraband. Let keep it that way.

There was a Lariat Advance drill a few days ago.
Intel has learned that Yer Bouti is to receive T-90 MS Tagil main battle tanks. This could pose a serious threat to the West Sahara-dom, Muritania-dom. Perhaps Mali-dom and Senegal. It is known that Eurasia has shipped the military vehicles, ammo, parts, training aids. Need to assess the best way to have the UIN to place sanctions against YB.

Yer Bouti
for public release for the Commonwealth of Chrisdom
The drills, brigade movement is irksome, disconcerting to say the least, certainly so close to the northern border of YB.
. From the Azores Oil lease program, the release of funds from the previous month has been authorized. So, $84 million in USD is being transferred to Yer Bouti Local Bank, now with assets of $86 million. Liabilities of $27 million. Guess these funds keep the Yer Bouti Local Bank solvent.

Some of the funds will be used to buy a new state of the art printing press.
There will be no shortage of YB Dollars however the exchange rate is slipping somewhat against the greenback.

Now we can pay the fuel bill for our ship stuck in St Petersburg.
The vital components for air defence and the MBT program,..... I mean beans and bacon
are much needed and will be a great addition to the country.
