Are you hiring Air Traffic Controllers? How about Electronic Technicians for their equipment?

Chris,
It is no secret that Kananaskis has been squirreling away surplus ex Canadian equipment for the last few years.
They admit to holding a fair amount of military kit. Also most of their Land Rovers came from the auctions of UK surplus from BATUS in Alberta.
What is not openly talked about is the former Soviet equipment that was also taken in.

CF-5 had been flying up until Nov last year. F-4's have not been used or seen since the late 90's when a single squadron has been used for air defence.

Manpower has been stable so the shortage might signal an effort to field some of the retired kit.

Thanks for the offer of the CofC detachment of M1's for evaluation but at this sensitive time
K-Country has declined.
Also apart from the few major roads here, most of our bridges top out at 50 tons max.

K-country.
Moroccodom has still to receive the last 58 of the 200 Abrams the US has made available. As the leave the US facility, we can ask then to route the 4 companies of Abrams north to you. Ammo as well, training simulators, etc.
. Canada has made it known they dislike the CoC and all Doms. We can ask the US to send it up to you. We can fly in crews and support to meet the trains. Get them to add on some passenger cars and extra cargo to support your independence.
. So if you like freedom as the CoC likes freedom, we can help.

Voting is well underway in K-Country today for the important referendum on continued independence or joining the New Canada.
The whole police force is on duty and the military is in the back ground.
On the street it seems to be more of a party atmosphere with all the different political groups staging rallies and Bar-B-Q's later this afternoon.
Early exit polls are too close to call.

Photos later.

The CoC is flying diplomatic team to be lead by Envoy Habibi.
Favored trade status is extended, Economic loans for capital of $10 B in USD.
Commonwealth Airlines would like to establish regular flights on 737-200 (not Boeing 737-MAX) twice a week. Route to Casablanca, Dakar, or YBC.
. The first Boeing 737 is being painted as we speak in the national colors of Kananaskis, logo fly to K-Country and back. Skiing and hiking are fun in K-Country. The economic growth opportunities are tremendous.

After a longer than wished recount (1 box and official was found alive and well outside the Drake Pub) the results are in and confirmed.

76% vote in favor of remaining an independent neutral Country.

Karma-Naskis.

The Country is mellow this morning, just a big clean up under way.

The ROD congratulates the Kananaskis on their reaffirmed independence. We would like to buy the country a round of drinks to celebrate. Is 4/20 going to be your Independence Day then? Next year, all of April will be 4/20!

The Commonwealth is extending an offer of membership to the CoC for K-country. We would be delighted if you joined our wonderful, glorious Commonwealth membership. All your citizens would receive an ID card at no cost with great benefits and prizes. A coloring book and Code reading eye-piece, All this in a box of Cracker Jacks. Everyone also will receive a few CDs, each with 4 episodes of Capt Kangaroo.
Such a treat. Look forward to working with you.

A Canadian official and the Premier of BC will be visiting Kananaskis country to discuss setting up a Canadian embassy in their capital. And so the Premier can visit the area that was part of his province.

K-Country
The diplomatic team from the CoC that visited K-Country including some members of the administration of 8 countries that are members of the Commonwealth, half are leaving on commercial airline. 35 total seats taken, about 12 per flight out of country.
The CoC Embassy is large, very large, housing representatives from several of the member nations of the Commonwealth. 4 stories high, 5 buildings in the complex.
One member visiting the site remarked that there are a lot of radio and TV antennas on the three tallest buildings. Not sure what they are all for, uhmmmmm.....
Staff will be flying in very soon.
