Unpainted 1/285th Scale Micro Armour®

Designed in late 1944 and early 1945 to replace the SdKfz 250/9 recon halftrack (which had in turn replaced the SdKfz 222 armoured car in production in 1943), this vehicle carried the Haengelafette turret mounting a 2 cm Kw.W.38 gun coaxially mounted with a MG42. It was mounted on the Aufklaerer 38(d) chassis, which was 17.6 feet long, 9.2 feet wide and had a ground clearance of almost 20 inches. This would have been the standard recon vehicle in the “heavy armoured car” company.
