30 Corps
Kiev is critical, road and rail junction, hope to form up a line of some sort from north to south.
.
16 Corps,
Rotate or move north. The furthest north is the right flank of the 30 Corp. Make contact and have your far left flank platoon meet up with the 30 Corps right flank. Those two platoons are to remain together so each company, battalion, brigade, division and corps will know their flank and that the other company, battalion, brigade, division and corps is protecting their others' flank.
. General, I want to know your formation please. Which division are upfront and which division is back, want to know what order they are in left to right. Then find out from your divisions if all their brigades are on the line or if a brigades is back.
7 Corps
On the far right flank along the Black Sea, they will guard the entire line's far right flank. Guard Odessa and any incursions.
.
5 Corps
Moving north have bridging units further north crossing some of the rivers where they become more narrow. M-3 bridging unit have set up 6 bridges
M-14 worked extremely well all lanes heading east. SP Centurions motoring down the highway following V-150 and Rooikats.
Air mobile lead the way down M-14. to Ivanove and then to area of Vyzyrka, helicopter and drone reconnoiter up to Mykolaiv, if open push V-150 and Rooikats.
Set up forward positions in area of Kobleve. Air defense set up and other being set up. Scouts and recon. on watch. radars, sound ranging units set up. M109 batteries, MLRS all under camouflage trees, netting barn, etc. combat engineers setting up tank hides fro primary, secondary and tertiary fighting positions and supporting infantry fighting positions, AT, FO team positions.
11th Armored Division
2nd battalion on line to the right of highway M-14 with 1st to the left with 3rd BDE far left. 3rd Moldavian Armored Div head to the south of the 11th.
Cav headed south to watch the flank.

THE PLAN for the 3rd Army
.
0500, June 3
Operations will begin to remove EE from Eastern Ukraine.
30 Corps
you will continue East hitting the 125 and 5 EE divisions.

16 Corps
Cross at or near Cherkasey, heading east. Then have the 1 Nigerian hit EE 94th, more to to hold it in place. Have the 2 Nigerian Go East after crossing the Dnieper, then push north into the rear areas of the 5th EE. The Canadians to help push north to encircle the 5th EE and 125th EE. SPEED will be critical to eliminate these two divisions. Crossing the river may be the most difficult.
use artillery, aircraft, helicopters to make the break through. Get you bridgeheads, build up to move forward.

You are eliminate SAM radar, fire & Control hubs. Use your air power to attack. Use the Wild Wiesel to eliminate/ reduce AA defenses.

5th Corps
11 th will cross, going north to go behind if possible or through the 94th EE.
T he 179 Cav Regiment is attached to the 11 to assist in the offensive or to assist the Moldova 3rd Div. to finish establishing positions Zaporizhzhia, prepare to cross in front of the 805th Div. if the 805 moves to reenforce up north, push across.
The 99th and 4th Div at Kherson are to cross the Dnieper. The 99 is north of the 4th. The 99th Div. is to approach the 35 EE. The 4th Div is to send 2 bridges south to creat a bridgehead on Crimean Peninsula. If the 99th is having a difficult time, be prepared to transfer 1 brigade to the 99th from the 4th.
12 Moldovan Div will advance to Kherson to support operations of the 99th and 4th divisions.

June 3, 2020
This morning in the pre-dawn darkness, Coalition forces launched a massive assault across the Dnieper River to expel Imperial forces from Ukraine. At 0200 local time, coalition artillery began to fire on pre-planned targets and coalition aircraft began to strike ground targets and conduct fighter sweeps east of the Dnieper. Ground units were preparing for bridging operations and offensive maneuver.

The CoC was able to infiltrate several small reconnaissance teams into eastern Ukraine to observe Imperial defenses and unit movements. This information was disseminated throughout 3rd Army and was used for targeting and strike planning.

In the Air
Coalition aircraft found Imperial fighters on routine patrol when the operation began – Mig-23s south of Kiev and Mig-29s further south near the coast. New Canadian CF-18s met the Mig-23s and tangled with them in the darkness, downing 5 Imperial fighters while losing 2 of their own. Along the coast, the Mig-29s were jumped by CoC F-35s. 8 Mig-29s were lost and 1 F-35 was shot down.

Ground attack aircraft targeted Imperial air defense batteries, artillery positions, and armored units in prepared defenses. A large number of aircraft were flying in the Wild Weasel role, specifically targeting enemy air defense radars and firing units. The mission is a dangerous one – 4 RPNW F-4s and 4 CoC F-16s were lost flying these missions, but nearly 2 dozen air defense sites were destroyed in the initial sorties. RPNW A-10s struck EE positions in the north, and the CoC brought in overwhelming air power in the form of A-7s, A-4s, and F-105s to strike ground targets.

The CoC also launched several cruise missile strikes against Imperial targets in eastern Ukraine, to include command and control nodes, military airfields, and troop concentrations.

The extent of the damage caused by initial air and cruise missile strikes is still not known, but the volume of Imperia artillery, air defense, and aircraft activity appears to be greatly reduced.

On the Ground
In the north, the RPNW Division began crossing units over the bridgehead in Kiev. The spearhead of 2 armored battalions made contact with the Imperial 5th MRD on the outskirts of Kiev, but the RPNW tanks made short work of the dazed defenders. The armor, working in close cooperation with A-10s are bloodying the Imperial units in the initial assault.

In the center, The Nigerian divisions of 16th Corps have been able to establish 2 bridges across the Dnieper north of Cherkasy, though they are facing Imperial artillery fire as they move across to the east side of the river. Several lighter combat vehicles have been destroyed in the crossing, but the Imperial 94th MRD is not in direct fire contact with the Nigerians at this time. It will take several hours to get across the river and deploy the corps to the east and north.

In the south, CoC 5th Corps has launched its assault across the Dnieper at two points: north of the city of Dnipro and further south near Kherson. The Imperial 805th MRD and the 35th Infantry Division were both hammered by air power prior to the assault across the river. Both divisions have brought CoC bridging operations under artillery fire, but CoC casualties have been light. 2 bridges have so far been constructed at each crossing site and CoC armored units are speeding across. The 11th Armored Division is spearheading the assault at Dnipro and the 4th Armored division is leading near Kherson. It will take most of the morning to get the lead divisions across, but the previous recon work has enabled the lead divisions to identify and avoid obstacles. The early air strikes and ongoing heavy counter-battery fire, has reduced Imperial efforts to mount a coordinated defense to the crossing.

Thuds

Strategic map showing update.

June 3, 2020 - Afternoon Update
Coalition forces have secured bridgeheads over the Dnieper River and, at this point, have a secure footing on the east bank. 16th Corps and 5th Corps have their lead divisions across the river, and they are making contact with Imperial ground forces. 30th Corps in the north has pushed out of Kiev but is experiencing heavy counterattacks.

In the Air
Coalition aircraft continue to dominate the skies over Ukraine. Several of the Imperial air bases in Ukraine and near the Ukrainian border were badly damaged in this morning’s strikes, but many of the newer airframes were protected in hardened shelters and, after minor runway repairs, were able to generate a fair number of sorties.

Su-25 ground attack aircraft launched attacks on the 5th Corps crossing sites, escorted by a squadron of Mig-29s. The Imperial aircraft were intercepted by CoC fighters and many were shot down. Several Su-25s did reach their target areas and struck the 4th Armored Division destroying 3 tanks and 4 IFVs. 3 CoC F-16s were lost in the dogfight, but 17 Imperial aircraft were downed by fighters and surface to air missiles.

Coalition aircraft continue to strike ground targets, rotating pilots and equipment to keep aircraft in the air around the clock.

CoC B-70s have begun to strike targets on the Crimean Peninsula as well. Cruise missiles have dropped several key bridges and struck Imperial air fields.

On the Ground
Lead divisions are making contact with the Imperial units in defensive positions. In the center, the 1st Nigerian Division has crossed the river and is receiving a counter-attack by the 94th MRD. The 94th’s lead regiment (equipped with BTR70s) has run into the 1st Nigerian’s 2nd Brigade (equipped with Rooikats) and a running battle is developing as the 2nd Nigerian Division and NCAF Division are crossing the river.

In the south, the CoC 11th Armored Division is slamming into the Imperial 805th MRD with the 79th Armored Cavalry Regiment hot on its heels. The 805th moved tanks and BMPs out of prepared positions in an effort to outflank the 11th Armored, but the CoC armor hit them head on and is dominating the gunnery duel. Imperial artillery is firing in support of the 805th, but CoC counter-battery fire is proving to be very effective.

Further to the south, the CoC 3rd Armored Division is hitting the Imperial 35th Infantry Division hard. The Imperial defenses were elaborate but fixed and the CoC armor is maneuvering around minefields and tank ditches to smash into the infantry fighting positions.

The situation in the north is precarious as the Imperial 5th MRD counterattacks the RPN division. The RPNW 3rd Armor Battalion is holding the line against the 33rd MRR, but other regiments are maneuvering to bring the full weight of the division down on the Kiev bridgehead late tonight or early tomorrow morning. The 125th TD has also begun movement from the north, moving to occupy a position where it can attack into the RPNW’s northern flank.

At Sea
CoC ships are in the Black Sea hunting the remnants of the Imperial fleet. Overhead, drones and patrol aircraft conduct an aerial search and are prepared to attack if/when the Imperial ships are located. The Imperial carrier continues to elude detection at this time.

3rd Army
Orders to the 16th Corps, please send 1st NC Division north to assist 30th Corp.
As an option, send the Nigerian Division or. BDE of that division and perhaps a BDE or two from N.C. Division. 30th Corps having a tough go of it, another division appears to be heading to hit them on their left flank.
As it is now, you have 3 divisions hitting the 94 EE. Perhaps two divisions will suffice. So if you can hit the 5th EE ON THE flank or in the rear areas, the 5th might collapse. Also reassign a couple of batteries to the 30th Corps.

June 4, 2020
Late last night and into this morning, several battles raged near the Coalition bridgeheads over the Dnieper. Imperial divisions all along the river were able to recover from the initial shock of the Coalition assault and they began to counter-attack. The concentrated air attacks have destroyed most of the Imperial air defenses in the forward areas, but the tanks and infantry are still very much a threat. The Coalition air power is now focused on hitting the Imperial divisions near the river, and deep attacks into eastern Ukraine continue to hit infrastructure and support targets. Deep attacks by CoC aircraft did considerable damage to 2 Imperial air fields, but the Imperial air force scrambled fighters to intercept them in the relative safety of their own rear area. The CoC lost 2 F-35s and 3 F-16s, while the Empire lost 4 Mig-29s and 6 Su-27s in the fight.

The Imperial Air Force also launched its own deep attack, sending a squadron of Tu-95 bombers from Imperial territory into the fray. Coalition aircraft detected them and fighters were sent to intercept, but the did manage to launch a barrage of kh-102 cruise missiles at the Dnipro bridgehead. CoC air defenses shot most of the missiles down, but 3 of them got through and struck the bridgehead area causing moderate damage to one of the bridges and relatively minor casualties. 8 of the Tu-95s were shot down by CoC fighters.

In the North
The RPNW continues to hold the bridges in Kiev despite a concerted attack by the Imperial 5th MRD. The RPNW tank battalions continued to chew up the Imperial motor rifle regiments on the outskirts of the city while the 1st Cavalry moved to the flank and attacked, running straight into the 5th MRD’s tank regiment. A close range tank battle erupted, but the superior crews an armor of the RPNW, as well as constant close air support, carried the day. The 5th MRD’s attack faltered with their attack blunted, and then an RPNW air assault into the division rear caused great confusion among the Imperial troops. The RPNW Division suffered moderate casualties, but the 5th MRD’s attack has stalled, and they appear to be waiting for the 125th TD to continue the attack. Imperial casualties are heavy.

In the Center
The bulk of the 16th Corps is moving east, attacking the Imperial 94th MRD. The 1st and 2nd Nigerian Divisions have made contact and have engaged, fixing most of the 94th MRD in place behind the Imperial defenses. 2nd Nigerian Division attacked to the front while the 1st Nigerian uses their greater mobility to move round the southern flank. The NCAF Division has crossed the river and is currently heading north. NCAF aircraft have not made their presence felt.

In the South
CoC 5th Corps continues to attack across both bridgeheads. He Dnipro bridgehead was hit by several Imperial cruise missiles, but only 1 bridge was damaged and the casualties were light. The Imperial 805th MRD is attempting to withdraw to the east to more defensible terrain, but two CoC armored divisions are moving fast and the 805th MRD is caught between the 11th Armored Division in the north and the 4th Armored Division in the south. The CoC 79th Armored Cavalry Regiment has sped to the south and eat, blocking Imperial movements while the tanks of the 4th and 11th Armored Divisions grind the 805th between them. The Imperial division did launch a counterattack with T80s and Hind-D gunships, attempting to stall the 11th Armored Division long enough to allow the 805th to escape, but CoC air power blunted the attack and the CoC tanks closed to finish the job with direct fire.

Further south at the Kherson bridgehead, the 3rd and 5th Armored Divisions have crossed and battered the Imperial 35th Division. A single infantry regiment was attempting to hold the line while the rest of the division displaced, but the 3rd Armored Division hit them hard, pinning them and wearing them down as the 5th Armored Division passed to the north and ran down another infantry regiment. The 35th still has some fight in it though.

At Sea
CoC naval and air units continue to hunt for the elusive Imperial aircraft carrier, but still no contact.
