Normandy Invasion - In Jan.1944, Dwight D. Eisenhower returned to London to take charge of the mightiest fighting force in Western History. He, in conjunction with the other Allied nations, was to undertake operations aimed at the heart of Germany. Massive training by the Allied forces began. Every element was considered, from the building of Glider planes and temporary naval ports to the actual shore landings.
D-Day Minus 1 - A tribute to the 82nd and the 101st Airborne Divisions and the IX Troop Carrier Command. The Pathfinders, paratroopers, and airborne infantry led the way for the biggest invasion in history, the greatest movement of men and supplies. They spearheaded the Allied invasion.
