Lead ship of a class of 12, commissioned between 1988 and 1996. Armament consists of a 57mm Bofors main gun, 8 Harpoon missiles, 16 Evolved Sea Sparrow, and an ASW suite of 24 Mk48 torpedoes. All 12 of the class are currently serving in the Royal Canadian Navy.
